    Es un excelente libro en el que abarca científicamente la globalidad de lo que es el TDA/H, es decir, toma en cuenta el área médica, escolar y familiar de la persona con dicho déficit. El autor debate en base a investigaciones algunos mitos sobre el tema como lo es la regulación de la ingesta de azúcar y terapias alternas.

    Este libro abarca la complejidad de lo que es el TDA/H cuando éste no es puro, es decir, cuando ya se encuentra conjuntamente con ciertas cormobilidades, lo cual implica un mayor reto diagnóstico en la evaluación para distinguir y analizar relaciones causales. Por ende, el tratamiento amerita un abarque de mayor amplitud. Inclusive, el libro plantea interrogantes en el campo de la investigación que siguen abiertas, como lo es la relación endócrina con el TDA/H.

    ·        DSM-IV TR. Manual estadístico de los trastornos mentales. Asociación Psquiátrica Americana. España: Masson.

    Es un manual puramente estadístico y descriptivo aceptado a nivel mundial por las sociedades médicas, ya que unifica criterios diagnósticos. El equivalente de este libro es el CIE-10 de la OMS.
